Presale madness!

Postby Mischievous1 » Tue Mar 12, 2013 2:49 pm

Presales....are they worth it? I ordered the album on Amazon last week and it's scheduled to come before 4/5. I suppose I'm getting a code for the presale Amazon is having. Is it really worth using the code or would it be better to just purchase tickets on April 6th when they go on sale to the public? There is soooooooo many presales going on that it's overwhelming !

I just pre-ordered the album on Amazon.com and I haven't gotten any pre-sale code... Where can I get this code?

I have the same question - not sure whether to go pre-sale or wait and see what StubHub has. I don't wanna pay $300+ for a ticket though.

I don't want to pay more than $150 . I saw some last night from a site where they were selling them for about $1100 front row in Toronto. For that much money the band better do more than just sing :p

I agree, but it's not the bad who charge so much for the tickets... These are specific companies that somehow buy out all the best seats and then they sell them for this hight price.

I personally have never got good seats on a presale, for any event. I have, however, pulled some pretty epic seats for some events through the regular onsale.

Are presale tickets generally more $ than regular tickets?

Getting tickets lately has been so stressful in part because the pre-sales put on immense pressure and usually with poor results. Some bands run a special fan club pre-sale and those work pretty well but for this tour with all the many pre-sales can the tix be that great?

I still haven't gotten my "code" from Amazon but sadly presale isn't always the best way. Brokers have the best seats but the prices are off the charts, it's unfair and hateful but sometimes you just gotta give in to sin to get the seats you want. Lots of lucky people on here have scored amazing tix on regular sale.

Good luck to all!

No. Just in terms of the usual if you want the better seat position you pay more.:)

I'm waiting for my code as well but a fan on here got in contact with Amazon and here is what he put..
"I just spoke with Amazon and they said that this offer is not currently presented the their website and that it is not currently valid. So, I am cancelling the order."
