Music recommendations

You're a Depeche Mode fan. So, much respect for your taste in music.

I'm a music blogger looking for new bands to review and listen to.

Any suggestions for me?

I would link to my website so you could see what type of music I'm usually into, but I don't want to self promote on here. It's not the place, is it.

As far as I know there's no rule that would prevent you to link your website: So, why not?

Some electronic bands/artists I listen aside from DM: VNV Nation, Mesh (my favorite band if DM didn't exist), De/Vision, Camouflage, Recoil (of course), Assemblage 23, Apoptygma Berzerk, Covenant, Zeromancer, Iris, B! Machine, Wave in head, Moenia (mexican DM), etc.

I also like VNV Nation. I've heard of AB, Covenant & A23, but none of the others. Wow, this thread is paying off already :)

I will check out those other bands you mentioned. Thank you for responding.

I should've been more specific. I'm after NEW music recommendations.

As in, bands that are just releasing music now for the first time.

My bad.

Ganapadi Store. Dark electronic.

Detritus is the is where he started finding his feet.

The same chap is the front man/lyricist of Leicester's most unproductive band Fishcake

I'm happy to say I did the artwork for the front of EP3.

Mate, we're all here because we love music and are happy to learn about new stuff, so don't be worried about being seen as self promoting. I've seen others link to stuff that was a lot less relevant, from men's clothing to feminine hygiene products. So feel free to post a link to your website. A new music blog is something I'd definitely want to take a look at.

Agree - Delphic are amazing. Nice guys too, met them after a show.

I enthusiastically add IAMX to the list. Quite DMesque.

I like Hurts a lot as well.
