Great great great great great show!!!!!!!! Definitely worth going to IMO Image

I've never had such fun in my life, this concert was just crazy!!!!!!! Two days have passed already and I'm still under its spell! Image

1. Super cool minimal bass version of Policy of Truth (I'm still humming it) Image Image
2. Just can't get enough thrown in the middle of Enjoy the Silence, the crowd really lost it at that point
3. That smoking guy playing that weird standing bass guitar who smiled all the way through the show, obviously loving it Image

Low points:
1. That twisted, totally uncool version of NLMDA Aggro mix;
Image2. Dave's mean remark "You don't know the fucking lyrics either, do you?" after having invited the audience to sing along to the chorus of Policy of Truth - sounded just as if he were saying "no one cares about the lyrics, the lyrics are not important" Image
3. Dave's macho attitude at some points, but it's definitely not THAT bad

Bottom line: The show was much much better than I expected it to be, I had great fun. Image

'remark "You don't know the fucking lyrics either, do you?"'

From what I have read, didn't he forget the words and get the crowd singing? Who apparently didn't quite sing along??

He was quite clearly having a laugh with you all.

I am sure you will find he meant no offence to you all. I guess if it was an english or American crowd it would have provoked laughter from the audience.

Glad you enjoyed it!!!

modeontheroad, the crowd did know the lyrics, obviously, and I know it was a joke at the beginning, when he said he couldn't remember the lyrics, but the second remark...it sounded ...sarcastic, mean. Not to the fans, but to Martin, to DM. I'm not sure I'm making myself clear, it was in the tone. Spite, disdain, you name it.
I may be wrong, but I'm pretty good at pragmatics generally Image

i forgot to mention the opening act, NEO, a Hungarian band - absolutely cool!!! Pornographic projections which we all enjoyed Image
Sounds vorrowed from 86 dm, but well mixed up;
They did a cover of New Dress which is really good, the best on "Thank you" - a Hungarian tribute album.
Get your hands on NEO if you can, it's realy worth it. Image

Why not? Not very expensive either, under 4 USD Image

I dont think his words had another meaning. he became very embarrased because of his mistake and wanted to tell something in that moment. thats all.

im glad you enjoyed the show. it was fantastic indeed.

i hope the rest of the tour will as great as it was.

How could he said that the crowd didn't know the lyrics , if the crowd was singing? So was the crowd singing at that moment, or no?
In Kiev the crowd was singing all the parts of all songs.
