M83. They're a great electronic band; they create these moving, filmic, ambient atmospheres with synthesizers.

Also, I recommend checking out the music of The Weeknd. He's a sort of "dark Rn'B" artist in that his voice is of Rn'B but, his production, his music behind his voice is different. It's darker, more alternative sounding; it involves a lot of reverb, echoes, and filters. It's really cool!

Check out this song of his called "The Party and the After Party." The production in it is crazy!:

I really like M83's "Midnight City." It has a nice 80s feel to it but with a modern sound, too. Plus, the sax solo definitely reminds me of the 80s, like the 80s sax solos from The Psychedelic Furs' "Pretty In Pink," Duran Duran's "Rio," Hershey, Pennsylvania's The Ocean Blue's "Drifting, Falling," Hall & Oates' "I Can't Go For That (No Can Do)," Spandau Ballet's "True," Men At Work's "Who Can It Be Now?," etc.

I think that Capital Cities' "Safe and Sound" and Fitz and the Tantrums' "Out of My League" have a nice 80s sound, as well.

Manhattan by Suzarain is also nice, very minimalist and moody, to a degree.

The lyric line of:->

"I know that in your heart there is an answer to a question
That I'm not as yet aware that I have asked"

Rivals that of something a guy of the name of Martin Lee Gore would write in his best days :)

Asaf Avidan does have a unique voice and that's a nice song too. I've recently read about the guy who did the music for the Belgian team at the World Cup Stromae. I like his music.

Morten Harkets new album Brother is really good, despite some reviews suggesting his last album was better...I tend to disagree
