Which Songwriters (if any) Have Been Influenced By Martin?

Have there ever been any songwriters that we know of, that have mentioned Martin as being a source (either major or minor)in influencing his/her/their songwriting styles? Just wondering

Sorry...I should have erased the "(if any)" part from the Topic Title since Im sure theres at least one musician who's been influenced been Mart...pay no attention to that part of the title

Take a look at tribute albums. most of those artist have been more or less influenced by Dm and Martin. Image

John Lennon, Bryan Ferry, Billie Joe Royal, Gary Glitter, Jonathan Richman, Marc Bolan, David Bowie, David Essex, Iggy Pop, Leonard Cohen, Neil Young, Robert Fripp, Brian Eno, Steve Harley, Hank Thompson, Kurt Weil, Lou Reed, Joe Crow, etc.

I guess what I really meant to ask was which musicians have OPENLY mentioned Martin as having an infunece on them. Sorry fellow boardies....my original question was a no-brainer and was obvious to include tons of examples

I didn't understand your point, this is just an opinion, but here are some artists that I think have been influenced or admire Martin's lyrics: Billy Corgan, Robert Smith, Hooverphonic, Monster Magnet, Apollo 440, Gus Gus, Deftones, Rammstein, Marilyn Manson, Axl Rose, Placebo, Blink 182,System of a Down, etc.
