My son, heavily influenced by Depeche Mode is now producing his own music as Evil Dust. On Spotify and Soundcloud

Not sure if this link will work but I'm a proud mum and wanted to share :D

That's awesome! I thought of a few lines' worth of lyrics during my first listen and sang them along in my head during my subsequent listenings. (No disrespect is meant towards your son's musical creation. I just imagined Dave singing (like he sounded on 'Construction Time Again' and felt it was appropriate).

I recommend the Swedish dark synth act Priest, their album ‘’New Flesh’’
Awesome stuff for fans of dark Depeche Mode stuff and early And One.

At first the vocals do sound kind of weird but that’s the best part of this album, when it grows on you, trust me, it becomes totally addictive : )
This album has receivied some interesting great reviews too.

Check them out

Not new but electro synth somewhere between DM and Front 242:
Prepared Lies ( 2011 ) by German band Nothing To Fear
The tracks Oneness and Prevent are my favourites off this release

My son - brought up with Depeche Mode on - I bought Ultra on my first day of maternity leave before I had him - is making music and has tracks on Soundcloud & Spotify. He's had a track released on a compilation - Self Aware III and now today, he has had 3 tracks bought by 'I Hate Models' who remixed Cover Me. My link to Depeche Mode

He is Evil Dust, he's also on a Fabric compilation. Please give him a listen.
