Any fans here?
I think we need a counter-thread to "that" football thread I see here once in a while :) .

Big changes in the rules for this season. Im all for cost-cutting measures but I dont like the new way of winning the championship, most wins in a season makes you the overall winner.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the race in Shanghai in April.

Daniel (thinking he started a thread that's doomed...)

I was lucky & went to the British GP in 2007 (Lewis Hamilton third on debut), brilliant day - isn't the noise incredible!

Went back in 2008 but only as a contractor and arrived after Lewis had won at the 2nd attempt, not during - still, got some momento's.

Anyone who thinks the sport is just driving round in a procession, needs to witness an F1 car taking a corner right in front of them.....amazing!

It was much more interesting a few years ago, but I must admit since Michael Schumacher gone..it gives chances to all now:)currently I don`t follow and I don`t care.

Love football and F1. The new rule changes could prove interesting.

The circus started early this year when they changed the rules very short after making them official...

I would like to see a little more emphasis on the win, by increasing the points gap to second place and probably increasing the points differences further down the finishing order.

However, if they just make the win the be all and end all you will simply lose some teams from the sport. It might well make for some very interesting finishes but the trade off would not be worth it. The season could effectively be over half way through. Anyway, could you get any more exciting than winning the championship on the last bend of the last race, holding your nerve right to the death, I for one think not.
