Exactly what the title says! Tell me your favourite albums, songs, concerts etc.
I discovered them after reading swhr that Alan Wilder had worked with them 4 the albums Ebbhead and As Is. My favourite album is Ebbhead, fave song is Sugar Sweet and I've been in a festival in 2007 just to see them... What about you?

I love Nitzer Ebb. I've seen them twice and met them once.
My favorite album has to be Belief. All those songs are great.

I saw them live 10 times between 87-89, then their audiences started trying to kill each other and I didn't really like the new material so much after Belief so I stopped bothering. Up to then they were a fantastic live band.

Favourite track: Shame, definitely. Also really like Join In The Chant, Smear Body, So Bright So Strong and Lightning Man. I really liked the whole That Total Age album.

On the subject of NE, if anyone can tell me the exact dates of the following two gigs I'd be grateful:
- The Rock Garden, Covent Garden;
- The New Marquee
I was at both of them in 1988 (I think) but I can't find the exact dates anywhere.
And finally...Vince Clarke started DM. No VC=No DM. Comprendez?

MET THEM??? Where, when, how?
I'd love to meet them, especially Mr McCarthy! Were they good? What did they say?

Been a fan since the early days.

Favourite album would be Ebbhead

Favourite track would be Ascend (album version) with Once You Say coming a close second.

Seen them live in 1988(2), 1991, 1995(2) and 2006(2).

CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEW ALBUM, IT'S GONNA ROCK!!!!!!!

And I was very happy to find out that our Martin did vocals at Once You Say! I was kinda shocked, but the result was absolutely satisfying IMO.

It was after a show in Santa Clara, Ca in 1989. They played a small club and afterwards we were waiting out back, near their tour bus knowing they would have to come out that way.
They did. I didn't talk to them much. Just asked if I could take their pics. Got some of me, my then boyfriend and my brother with them. I remember Douglas being moody but Bon was very friendly and smiley.
And yes, the show was killer! That little club didn't know what hit it!

Hmmm, Bon seems to be always friendly. Probably it was a bad day for Doug... Their concerts are awesome, that's true! I have actually met them, but a friend of mine spoke to them 4 me. I didn't say a word, I had reddened all over my face, looked at the floor and Doug was staring at me, because I was wearing an off shoulder purple blouse and it seemed weird. He was smiling at me. He probably thought I was over 18. It was kinda embarrasing. Lol...
