What's your favorite TV-show?

Postby SEVEN+ » Mon Aug 22, 2005 12:59 am

As far I can tell (search) this has not come up before.

What's everyone favorite TV-show and why? Mine;

ST: Deep Space Nine - Drama in outerspace.. The darkest and most human of Star Treks.
M*A*S*H - The combination of comedy and harsh, bloody reality.
SOAP - One of the funniest comedies ever. And lots of familiar faces.
Dilbert - Recognisable for anyone that works in a profit-steered company.
Friends - After 10 seasons still as funny as in the beginning.
If God has a masterplan...

Dilbert is pretty cool, but Friends?? well that's your opinion and i respect it, but i personally don't find it the least but funny. (and no, i am not just saying that based on one episode or my freinds' opinions, i was forced to see it many times by my aunt, so i have seen enough to make judgements)

I used to really like the Simpsons when i was younger, still like it, but i have seen every episode and am a bit tired of it...

Love Seinfeld, possibly the funniest show ever on television.

Family Guy, it was better in the first seasons, though.

Reno 911
Used to watch Queer Eye For the Straight Guy. Carson is hysterical at times.
Law & Order SVU
Random shows that might grab my interest,

Not much, that's about it.

Oh, and Motormouth.

don't watch much TV. Never home, constantly working my ass off and if I do get one of those miraculous wonderful chances of getting the weekend off there's no place to go and nobody to go anywhere with. Usually end up being bored to tears.

anybody ever die from extreme boredom and loneliness??

1. Seinfeld
2. Friends (I grew up watching this show)
3. Caiga Quien Caiga (great Argentinean show, a sort of weekly sum up of news with twist)
4. The Simpsons
5. Lost

I like from years ago "The simpsons" but I saw the last season in their original language, because in the Spanish version change the voices.

When I have time I saw South park too.

There is an anime that I like too much, their name in spanish is "Los caballeros del Zodiaco"

Nip tuck and CSI are good too.

And friends in their firsts seasons, the last seasons don't are too funny for me.

Well I must say that without a doubt 24 is my favourite tv show. I have all the DVDs books, posters, etc. And yes I even caught up with some Kieferettes (Kiefer Sutherland fans as we are otherwise known) in Toronto for the Canada's Walk of Fame awards. Just some pics in case you wanted to see

Kiefer's mommy. Shirley Douglas... Daughter of the late great Tommy Douglas.

Besides that I am a huge fan of Nip/Tuck (Only a week or so until the second season is out on DVD!), Law and Order: SVU, CSI (only the original... The other two suck), Alias, Mythbusters, Random Discovery Channel Shows, Family Guy, Futurama, Royal Canadian Air Farce, This Hour Has 22 Minutes, Rick Mercer's Monday Report (Rick Mercer for Prime Minister baby!), and several other random shows.
