Re-do/tone down some of the distortion in "Come Back". Dave sounds good, but the wall of noise buries him to the point the track is nigh-unlistenable.

Only gripe:

"Ghost" was not on the album.

That's it.

sotu gripe

Wow, there are no words to describe my disappointment. I love DM so much and I know this sounds so cliche but they have literally provided the soundtrack to my life. There is just absolutely too much chaos instrumentally going on in each of the songs. And what the heck is Spacewalker? I feel like I'm committing blasphemy or something by saying these things because in all the time that I've listened to Mode, they could do absolutely NOTHING wrong. I have my tickets for Dallas (as usual, this will be #14) but I'm thinking I better be sure to savor every second of it because I'm afraid this ones going to be the end of it. It has always pissed me off when people say they should have stopped after Ultra, unfortunately I'm starting to feel the same way.

Jezebel is awful.

I will definitely be getting a beer during this song when they play it live.

Some journalists have likened it to "Somebody" - I just don't hear this. Not a patch on most songs sung by Martin.

biggest gripe is that track 5 is the worst depeche mode song EVER!! and sounds like something of Exciter.

Too many cheap-sounding synth sounds

PS: I haven't yet received my box set so I haven't heard the CD version yet, mind you...this is based merely on listening to the album on my PC's speakers....so i could very well be wrong...
Alan Wilder...dare I hope?

I'm in the "love it" group. I'm not sure what it is about this song, but it has become my instant favorite. Sounds great nice and loud in my car.

I actually like the album but find that a lot of it has the same feel to it. I don't find a track that really jumps out at me aside from Miles Away.

But...everybody has their likes and dislikes, and you rarely get agreement on much. I'm just happy to have some new DM in my collection.
