Anyone else agree with me that this has some very Smiths sounds in it

i am thinking somehting like Louder than Bombs - or from that time

5.1 version obviously makes it more like this

I'n not talking about the rythm of the song but more some of the sounds employed

I think you're referring to the intro. The guitar sounds kind of like the beginning of "How Soon is Now". I remember Alan answering a question about this on his website but I can't find it for the life of me now...I think he basically acknowledged the similarity and said that the resemblance was coincidental.

listened to it again just to make sure my ears wernt decieving me

Kaleid is a faster tempo than How soon is now

I'm still gobsmacked

i knew it was one of them and as i don't have any more smiths stuff - all on old cassettes since thrown out - i couldn't check but i had to ask the question

as for where

look on the dvd and in the additional tracks section

I love this instrumental, it's a great driving tune.

The lads were in savage form with the Violator b-sides.
