Can anyone tell me what Dave say towards the end of Photographic - something like.. 'Im just making it up... can't remember..' ?

Got my CD. Arrived 3 days after I received the email to say it was posted. Delighted with the CD and the quality. All the memories came flooding back.

Only one bone to pick. No live CD of the Dublin gig! Bummer!

Could someone please comment on the quality of the Salt Lake City and Houston shows? Any input would be much appreciated.

WayneUK wrote:I got the 20/02/10 cd yesterday. Have not heard the December O2 gigs but it's a real mixed bag. Lots of sounds too low in the mix, Martins backing vocals quite distant and I just wonder how low the mics were to pick up the crowd. Like the RAH, doesn't do the gig justice as far as i'm concerned.

And a minor issue, the back sleeve states 'Live Saturday, December 20th 2010' LOL

Totally agree Wayne. I have the 6 UK concerts on cd that I went to and was a bit disappointed by the sound on the RAH and Feb O2 concerts. They do sound far too quiet with no real punch while the other 4 I have all sound much louder and punchier.
Typical as they were the 2 best concerts :(

Yeah- I think the RAH CD doesn't capture any of the 'vibe' that was generated between band and crowd, however on pure sound the quality I think its quite good, apart from some backing vocals a bit distant, as mentioned.
I am disappointed to see you say it's the same for the Feb O2 gig!! I am still waiting for that CD. I guess I have to hold out and hope for this to come through on Dusseldorf 2 show ! :)

I got the RAH CD last week and agree it is a bit on the quiet side - you really have to turn the volume up, although I don't normally need an excuse!! Having said that, I was blown away by the strings part, especially Home - beautiful! Didn't go to RAH (only Birmingham and O2-20/02), but this is just such a special reminder of the quality of DM.

Yes - true, with volume up it's better! Also, yes the strings are fab and so is the Home jam.
