I'm flying in from Sweden, meeting up with my brother in Killarney and then going to Dublin for the concert. We found a hotel in the city centre and I think we're paying about 70 Euros a night for a twin room. We'll be going to the after show party as well.

sinister: i really couldn't fly, too much stress, plus the journey is so short that the plane stays quite low most of the time----> turbulence.....and i can't stand Ryanair anyway. the train, on the contrary, is a rather pleasant adventure, ;-)))

Ah your standards are too low so! Much better to book another hotel in or near town at the same price.. Shame to waste a quality night in a refugee hotel!

i am staying 'til Sunday and i don't have 200 euros more to pay for something i don't even know. I like the location, actually. Coming to/from Cork, u avoid heavy traffic, they have parking etc... u must have some really bad experience, 'cos i've stayed there so many times and can't think of one thing to complain about....and my standards are higher than i can afford being a postgrad student! ;-))

I'll be there too with a few friends. Usually before gigs in the o2 there is pre drinks in the Harbourmaster bar in the IFSC so I'll be going there.
Then going to Manchester to see DM again the following week. Woo hoo!
And when I squinted the world seemed rose-tinted
