In Paris, Dave's voice was marvelous, just fantastic. So there!

Well I was there and I thought he sang ok.
On one song or part of a song I maybe thought that he had a cold or something but I didn't think of it for the rest of the concert.
I was a good show but as I said earlier just a little short.

Now they are playing on festivals again, it will be exciting to see if they take the short set list as in Arvika or a long one.....

I was in Arvika - the only bad thing were the short set list. Dave's voice was fantastic, they looked pleased and happy on the stage and the audience around me were singing during the whole show. Even the weather was perfect - no rain and cold gust of wind.

The only disappointment was the 5 missing songs.
I had really looked forward to see "Strangelove" and "Master And Servant".

I just hope they come back to Sweden for a real concert again maybe next year.

Trust me...they do :)

This was my 11th DM show, and I give it a 3/5 score, which unfortunately means that it's not in the top 10....

It was a good show, mainly due to the great feeling of having DM on stage in the forests of Sweden, an on Arvikafestivalen which so deserves this almost unattainable dream booking (DM-fans have always made up a large portion of the festival's visitors, but noone really dared to hope that they would actually ever play there).

However

  • The short set list was disappointing
  • Dave wasn't 100%, but I'm still impressed that he can deliver so much, especially after the latest ordeal
  • I would enjoy a new and more "out there" stage show. DM's shows have stuck a bit on repeat now

Whatever the press says... it's the personal experience that really matters :) And I had a hell of a good time. It was my first DM show so I was pretty euphoric a week afterwards, despite the shortened set list and the technical issues. The band seemed to be in such a good mood! :D And I did never dare to wish for AFOTW and In Your Room, so I might have died a little when they played those...

Now I just need to find someone I know who'd like to follow me to Bergen. No luck so far :/

It would sound even better if they also add a show in Finland :D I wonder why they skip this country...
