Is 'Saw Something' the most beautiful solo Dave Gahan song?

Discuss Dave's "Hourglass" solo project here.

Beautiful song.. Very beautiful.
It is one of my favourites, but sometimes it makes me sad. It is very introspective.
Body parts are starting to appear and scare

The child inside away....

Yes. Definitely yes. Down wins second place by a slim margin.

I love Hourglass, it's so much better than Paper Monsters. I hope Dave continues to write songs, seems like he's just getting better and better each time (OH WELL <3)
And when I squinted
The world seemed rose-tinted

I posted this in the thread for songs that made you cry, however, this song, ultimately, lives in the light of happiness and inspiration that guides my life!:)
I cried to "Saw Something", by Dave Gahan. It was as though the lyrics/music/video unveiled a central part of my essence. When you witness that you are capable of and long for a beautiful exploration of an unconditional connection, you can fall with high frequency into painful societal illusions which declare that such unconditional friendships are impossible. "Saw Something" awakened a "missing piece" of my being that feels that the development of trust and a solid foundation in a friendship is what can bring eternal health, transcendence, innocence, magic, passion, and destiny. I guess, some people just know that this is possible and I cannot completely explain it with words, but I am one of those people. I cherish this song forever and I am wholeheartedly grateful that I "saw something" pertaining to a "sameness" of sorts in Dave's eyes!:) My tears were indicative of a painful, natural longing that was acknowledged through the song, leading to an unforgettable, liberated smile.;)
With infinite appreciation,

Saw Something is definitely one of my favourites from his solo stuff, as well as Down.
Words are meaningless and forgettable.
