Live CD recommendations - little accident

Postby flufferama » Wed Aug 09, 2006 2:10 pm

I lent my Live Here Now CD (Dublin, June 26) to my friend. He's managed to mangle the CD case completely and is really embarrassed about it because it's not fixable.
Anyway, he's absolutely insistent that he buys me a replacement CD so I need some recommendations from anyone who has heard the CDs from other shows.
As I already have the Dublin gig and the CD itself is fine, I'd like to have Shake the Disease or Judas - any recommendations?

The Jones Beach rendition of Judas just about brought tears to me eyes...it's absolutely goregeous!!! I think I have 4 or 5 live cd's with Shake the Disease on it...I'll have to give them a critical listen and see which one is "best". :)

If you order Berlin Waldbühne, July 12, you get Judas and Shake the disease in one set. Can't say anything about the recording of course, as it's not out yet. But the show itself was great!

I recommend the Mexico City show from 5-5-06 in Foro Sol Stadium. I have the Live Here Now, and its amazing. Judas is on it, but there is no Shake the Disease, but instead you get an amazing Leave in Silence which end up being half the song with only Martin and no music (amazing), and it was also Daves birthday that night so it added to the show. Hope that helps.

Postby UselessAdvice » Thu Aug 10, 2006 11:28 am

Here is the set list for Berlin July 12th (according to fans who were there):

> Intro
> A Pain That I'm Used To
> A Question Of Time
> Suffer Well
> Precious
> Walking In My Shoes
> Stripped
> Home
> Judas
> In Your Room
> The Sinner In Me
> John The Revelator
> I Feel You
> Behind The Wheel
> World In My Eyes
> Personal Jesus
> Enjoy The Silence
encore
> Shake The Disease
> Just Can´t get enough
> Never Let Me Down Again

Please not this is not the same information on the official website! :icon_conf

For Berlin the official website has set lists #18 (July 12) and #24 (July 13)

According to my information it should be #24 (July 12) and #25 (July 13)
